Individual Business Coaching
The coaching process begins with an intensively conducted positioning discussion, in which a location determination is made and goals for the planned coaching measure are defined. This positioning process is often supported by the supplementary use of management diagnostic instruments. A written report on the contents of the discussion, which is made available exclusively to the coachee, is then used for mutual review and, if necessary, to specify the conclusions reached. Subsequently, coaching sessions are held at approximately three-week intervals, during which work initially focuses on achieving the defined goals. An expansion of the defined goals catalog is possible at any time. In view of its unique degree of individualization, individual business coaching is also one of the most efficient development measures for executives, especially at the highest levels, in terms of time.
Coaching of Senior Executive Teams
When coaching a complete executive body, individual coaching sessions for all its members (typically senior executive team and the next management level) alternate with workshop events, in the course of which work is done together on necessary improvements within the executive team or even the entire organization for which it is responsible. The workshop content is based on insights gained during the individual coaching sessions, without revealing personal statements of individual participants, unless the coach has been explicitly authorized to do so in individual cases. At the end of each workshop, concrete work objectives are agreed upon for the participants, which in turn are also taken up during the individual business sessions. The implementation of the entire measure usually takes six to nine months. At the latest one year later, the sustainability of the changes implemented should be reviewed in a joint workshop and individual steps readjusted if necessary.
